Weekend in Split: Sago Apartment Review

7:25 AM

When I was a kid, I used to visit Split with my dad almost every year in a summer time. However, we were staying in a small town Kaštel Kambelovac, so I never experienced Split in full form. As this was my first solo trip here I had no idea where to stay. After some research on booking.com, I came a cross this amazing Sago Apartment with a beautiful interior that's super close to the city center. Diocletian's Palace is just 600 m away from the apartment and that was really important to me because I wanted to explore Old Town a bit more.
Walking to an apartment I was kindly greeted by the owner who already gave me her number so I could contact her with any questions about the city or if I had any special wishes. That was a nice gesture because, when traveling, sometimes I can get the feeling that I am one my own in foreign country and it's not very pleasing. After a brief tour around the apartment, Nika (who is traveling with me) and I were left alone to unpack and take a rest.

Sago Apartment consists of two bedrooms, one with the king size bed and one with two twin beds. However, in the living room is one sofa bed, so five people can easily fit in. The Apartment is fully equipped, from the Wifi that's free of charge to two small terraces perfect for a morning tea. You can reach the apartment on foot, however it has a free parking spot, so you won't have any troubles finding place for your car. It is private apartment in building situated near Croatian Maritime Museum and Gregory of Nin, one of the most popular attractions in Split.

Sago Apartment is a great apartment to stay in for great location and interior. I was so satisfied with my stay that I look forward to the next opportunity to visit again.
